Mr. Franken accepted the 312-vote victory with quiet and humble thanks, being honored by the decision. Of course, there's more. The overwhelming weight of the evidence indicates that the Nov. 4, 2008, election was conducted fairly, impartially and accurately... and received the highest number of votes legally cast.

Al Franken's opposition is, of course, the incumbant and Republican cry baby. Why is he a cry baby? Well the answer is simple. This isn't the first time that election officials have given the win to Franken. And as per usual, a sore loser emerges. Democratic process FTW! However, there is such a thing as simply dragging it out as though your hoping your opponent will die before a final decision is made. one Mr. Norm "No, I still Won" Coleman, has decided that since he's lost in several decisions, it must mean he's actually the winner.
After the Minnesota court ruled in favor of Franken, Coleman (you could just see his pacifier in his mouth) claims to have plans to appeal the decision. Not just to appeal to the MN. State Supreme Court, but to take it federal if it doesn't go his way. Why he's prepared to throw tantrums until the U.S. Supremes give him whay he wants.
Settle in folks, it's going to be a long ride until the 59th seat gets filled.
